SCHOOL ADVENTURE CAMPS
Manawaru School, Waikato
"We were delighted with the positive friendly encouraging manner the team demonstrated. We all felt empowered trying new activities! Can't believe how Kate could remember all those names! Thank you Kate for making this camp so easy. We loved it, and I am recommending it to everyone!"

Sacred Heart Girl's College Hamilton
"The team at First Step Outdoors were outstanding on our recent caving trip with our level 2 PE class. Our guides were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly encouraging, making sure our students had a safe and unforgettable experience. Safety was their top priority, and they went above and beyond to ensure that everyone felt comfortable and secure throughout the adventure. Our students were challenged and had a fantastic time exploring the caves. It was an educational and thrilling experience that our class will always remember. We couldn't have asked for a better caving adventure, and we highly recommend First Step Outdoors for their exceptional service".

Linda Judge, Teacher/Team Leader
Ohaupo School, Waikato
"I have enjoyed dealing with Kate as she has all the experience needed to plan an exciting programme for my class camp. I had a variety of options to choose from and she created a programme tailor made for us. Parents were impressed with the facilities and with how easy she made it for them to assist with activities on camp. Communicating with Kate was convenient as she was only an email away and her response was always prompt. As a class teacher, knowing that someone was able to organise the off EOTC event made things so much easier so that I could focus on more important issues."

"As a Principal who sees the massive benefits of school camps for children I am always looking for a venue that provides a quality outdoor experience for our students. Pirongia Park lodge certainly provided that. From the initial visit of the site we were warmly welcomed by warden Kate Parr who answered all our questions and discussed the myriad of activities we could choose from. We were very impressed with the balance of free and paid activities that are available. Kate set about analysing our needs and constructed a high interest and challenging programme for our students. Such was the quality of the camp and the level of enjoyment from the children we returned again the next year and were able to put together another programme of different activities, such is the amount of variety available. As testament to Kate and her team we are returning this year for a third camp and cannot wait to see what adventures she has in store for this year. If you are looking for a quality camp that challenges your children in a safe and friendly environment where they can enjoy all the beauty that the New Zealand bush can offer then Pirongia Park Lodge is for you. We love it and am sure you will too".

FAMILY ADVENTURE
"First Step Outdoors hosted a magnificent adventure weekend for our family and friends at the picturesque Pirongia Forest Park Lodge. Lots of different activities were arranged to cater for all age groups and everyone had a fabulous time trying something new. Kate was a marvellous host, nothing was too much trouble and she was really flexible in being able to meet our needs. We tried the flying fox, climbing wall, abseiling, assault course and each activity was managed professionally and safely. Thank you for a birthday to remember!"
